Beautiful

First, let me preface by saying that it is only 70° today. How wonderful!

Last night Scot was saying that he heard the new Harry Potter already had a pressing higher than The Bible. I think the irony of that is just beautiful. Harry Potter, the book that hundreds of people wanted banned from schools because of its references to witchcraft. The book that parents protested because of its allusions to devil-worshipping. And now it is more popular than The Bible.

Yes, we are beginning to win.

Respect your elders

I hate when people say how rude young people are today. I can say, from working in the service industry for the past 6 years, that it is the older people who need to learn better manners. They are the ones that come in and say “Gimme this” and “Gimme that”. Older people are the ones who throw their money on the counter or shove it at you. Older people are the ones who don’t say please or thank you.

I don’t know a single person who would rather wait on a group of older people than a group of young people (excluding high school kids - they suck!). Young people are polite, understanding, friendly, and tip generously. :-)

Hi, this is An’d. Can’t you tell? It says posted by Atlanta Daniel. Really, this is An’d. Charity didn’t sign in under An’d’s name on accident because this computer processes An’d’s password automatically. No. But, let me tell you, that Charity is really ready for some pizza right now. I can just tell. She’s always hungry.

phew, I’m tired. Chair and I went to Busch Gardens today and it was soooooooooo hot. blegh. like, for real, serious, miserable hot. but it was still fun. then we had a lunch break with her 2 sisters and one of her brothers and her old friend Brooke, at Plaza Azteca of course. We ordered 3 bean dips!!!! mmmmmm, delish.

Then back to Busch. And did I happen to mention how god-awful hot it was? I had to really concentrate on not passing out from the heat.

I took her to her brother’s graduation and on the way we stopped by Harpoon Larry’s to visit Dana. She’s same ole Dana. It was fun. Driving to graduation was hell. Where did all these kids come from?!?! Please, stop procreating!!!

I’m really sleepy now and I’m off to dreamland……….
