The Tard Blog

August 31st, 2003

I know, I know. I am soo far behind in updating. But I am working on 3 websites right now so you just gotta give me a minute and I’ll get to it, I promise.

I have a new favorite Ortho. Well, I guess maybe I never had a favorite one before, so now I do. He is sooo cute.

He’s this little old man that I see at Harris Teeter. He’s always there late at night, right before they close. The first time I saw him, he was standing in the frozen section dissecting a cigar. He just stood there forever. Then I saw him a couple of nights ago standing in the middle of an aisle doing something in his cart. He was there for a while then I heard this really loud noise. He had a radio and he had been trying to turn it on I guess. He turned it up sooo loud and then proceeded to shop. How fucking precious is that?!?!

I saw him again tonight. He was sitting on the bench outside of the Teeter just blaring Simon & Garfunkle on his ghetto blaster. I just love him.

Oh, and by the way, thanks a bundle for the Get Out of Hell Free card. It really works. Since I’ve had it, I’ve stopped feeling guilty so many times because I remember that I’m pardoned.

It’s the best gift ever!!

Everything is still all right over on this neck of the country. The night before last I felt a little earthquake while I was trying to fall asleep. At first I thought it was a kitty jumping on my bed, but soon realized that none of these kitties are even half as fat as Clancy. They couldn’t possibly have caused all that ruckus. It was actually kinda fun. Like a massage from the planet. I could see how they could get a cultish, adrenaline junky type following. Except that I don’t think there are too many people THAT retarded. Only me:P

well, chair, today was it. mars day. is everything still all right on your side?

August 27th, 2003

I kept hearing today that it was the hottest day of the year. By 1:00 is was already up to 100°, with a heat index of 120°. Granted, it was hot, but it didn’t seem that bad. I think there have been worse days than today this summer.

Maybe I’m just tougher now, after surviving a 14 hour car ride to hell. (I mean, New York City)

August 24th, 2003

Stop posting under my name, you trick. I don’t want people to think I use such vulgar words.

And, Oso is an indoor kitty now. No more sowing of the wild oats.
