Forbidden Zone Forbidden Zone Forbidden Zone
Forbidden Zone Forbidden Zone Forbidden Zone

Chair, you gotta get in touch with the Nuart Theatre and see how far in advance you can purchase tickets. On Moviefone they are sold up to two weeks in advance. It would sure suck to fly all the way out there and it be sold out.

I wonder what the show is gonna be like? I hope it’s not all serious and quiet, because I don’t think I can be serious and quiet for it. We have to sing all the songs, and yell out the words and stuff. I’m picturing a Rocky Horror type environment (minus the underage trash idiots and the nasty old lechers).

Whoopee! I can’t wait. Yay for April!!!!

I never could understand why, when I did a search for “Blockhead” on half.com, Aesop Rock always showed up.

BlockheadThe new Ninja Tune DVD that I got last time we were in New York had this really great song called “Insomniac Olympics” by Blockhead on it that Julio and I fell in love with. I had never heard of this guy and certainly didn’t know of any Ninja Tune releases by him.

His debut album, “Music By Cavelight” was just released last week so I promptly picked it up. I love it, of course. Turns out, he was the producer on Aesop Rock’s “Float” and “Daylight” albums. Hell yeah! (and no wonder “Bazooka Tooth” sounds so different)

How come I never knew about this before??

Two weekends in a row!! Man, I’m one lucky girl.

Sorry I didn’t call you last night. My friend didn’t end up leaving until too late.

The queen is gonna ream us with twenty inch cattle prods, and I’m still waiting.

The Forbiddden Zone

I was soooo excited last night when I found out that
Forbidden Zone is being re-released in theatres this year. How cool is that?

Then I see that it’s being released at Landmark Theatres. But we don’t have a Landmark anywhere around this crap area. Maybe the Naro could still get it.

What? It’s playing in LA April 30th?? With a guest appearance by Richard Elfman?!!? 4 days after I leave LA!?!?

So, you mean to tell me that I go out to see my Chairhead in April, and Squarepusher is playing only 4 days before I get there. Then on top of that you’re gonna tell me that Forbidden Zone is playing 4 days after I leave????

I don’t think so.

2 weekends in a row, Chair. It’s gonna be great. Julio and I are becoming such jet-setters.

I made it roar at me.

We can do the phone interview thing. I stopped making tracklists a long time ago because no one seemed to appreciate them. I was just making cds for the wrong people I guess. CvT got mad at me a couple of months ago for making him a cd w/out a tracklist (I know I hate it when people do it to me) so now I’ve gotten back into the habit. Plus, since I can put them on artofthemix now, it loads of fun.

BTW - I am after the UK promo only single for cLOUDDEAD - Dead Dogs Two
