Ahah! So it’s not all that weird that I have an extremely high hatred and disgust for chewing gum, it’s just anti-American.. Whoopeee!!
from Weird Foods of the World:
| Chewing Gum (USA) | Originally made from chicle, the sap of a Central American tree. Now made with PVA polyvinyl acetate plastic, sugar or artificial sweetener, flavors and colors. Some Europeans characterize Americans as dim-witted ruminants because of this habit, which nonetheless spreads worldwide. Should this even be in rec.food or should it, like betel- chewing, be discussed elsewhere? |
Jared and I just got back from the mall. We went to see Fahrenheit 9/11. On the internet, it said the showtimes were 8:00 and 10:40. But when we got there, the times were 7:20 and 10:00. I think those god damn republicans are sabotaging the internet. So now were are waiting til 10…..

I would just like to say that DJ Shadow is an awesome fucking DJ. He never fails.
I buy a lot of mixes from artists I love. Some of them are good, some of them are painful to my ears (ie - most Kid Loco mix cds). But that DJ Shadow, he always amazes me….
His new cd “In Tune and On Time” is a must hear.

I’ve been listening to the new PJ Harvey album non-stop. I’m so in love with it. The first few times I heard it, it seemed pretty run-of-the-mill PJ to me. I loaded it up onto my bike mp3 player and just listened to it as I rode around.
But then I found myself always singing it in my head. When I was looking for a cd to play, I kept reaching for that one. Then I realized that it’s because I love “run-of-the-mill PJ Harvey” stuff.
Plus, I noticed in the liner notes that she thanks Vincent Gallo, and further down it says the song “The End” was written for Vincent Gallo. I’ll have to investigate this one. I never knew they were dating. They would make a pretty awesome couple.

| How to make an Atlanta |
| Ingredients: 3 parts competetiveness 3 parts brilliance 5 parts |
| Method: Combine in a tall glass half filled with crushed ice. Add a little cocktail umbrella and a dash of wisdom |
5 parts what?!?!?!? Am I supposed to choose or something?
You got my email. I am now demanding that anyone I know see Farenheit 9/11 in order for me to like them.
That’s fair, right?
