International aid agency Oxfam will be auctioning off Björk’s 2001 swan dress, amongst other celebrity fashion items, on eBay Sept 18 - Sept 25 (coinciding with London Fashion Week).
Rose Marsh, a spokeswoman for Oxfam, said she expected the swan dress to draw interest from collectors or “fashion types.” “It’s the sort of thing that’s kind of priceless.” “We don’t know yet how much these items could raise but if people get involved in a bidding war over Bjork’s dress then it could be quite a substantial amount.” All money raised will assist Oxfam’s general program of aid work. |
We caught Nemmie sleeping in my sock bucket this afternoon. That boy is crazy for socks!
Did I ever tell you about the time when we were breaking apart my old box spring to throw it away and found tons of sock balls burrowed INSIDE of it?
I had an overwhelming urge last night to start a scrapbook of the appliances I need, like Sylvie, the “Me and You…” girl that I am completely obsessed with. She totally rules!!! I just love her.
Anne passed by the Naro on her way to the Dollar Store so I got her to pick me up a notebook and some gluesticks (thanks!) so that I could get started right away.
So far my “appliances” include a super cool pair of boots that I can’t find online anywhere, a neato cd burner/printer, another pair of cute travel speakers (I’m starting a collection), and an ad for some fun clip art.
