My new Earth Vegan shoes just came in the mail. They are so cute and comfy and I love them!

I was a little unsure about them when I ordered them last week because I couldn’t really tell from the picture if I was going to like them or not, and the description didn’t say how high they were, and they were $90, which seems like a lot for vegan shoes. But now I don’t care – they are so great. I want more!!!

Okay, so the installation guys called at 4 to say they would be here in about an hour. But – they could only remove the old dryer, they would not be able to remove the shelving the dryer was on. They’re not liable or some crap. So Jules and I had an hour to remove it ourselves, which we did accomplish.

Then they came a little after 5 and attached the dryer to the washer, but were unable to finish the installation because we didn’t have the vent hose thing. Aaaaarrrrrggghhhhhhhhhhh! Back in the car for yet another trip to Best Buy. When we got there, the installation guy also happened to be there, so he pointed us to the parts we would need and said that we would be all set.

Jules and I just tried to hook it all up, and guess what – we’re still missing parts. The coupling that attaches the vent hose to the dryer is conveniently missing.

I am so over this crap. You pay $1300 for a brand new washer/dryer and this is the shit you have to go through!?!?

Everything always goes wrong. The holidays are the worst.

Best Buy hasn’t come yet today, either. I hate them.

I gave up, it was just too hard. I got new shoes instead. Shoe sizes are easy.

My email to Best Buy:

I purchased a Whirlpool Washer & Dryer on November 9th from store #421 in Chesapeake. Virginia. They were scheduled to be delivered and installed on Nov 13th. On the day they were delivered, the washer was installed, but the connecting kit that came with it was broken. I was told to go to the store to get a replacement and then reschedule an installation for the dryer. I went that afternoon and rescheduled for Nov 18th.

On Nov 18th, no one ever showed up. I called the store, they apologized, and installation was rescheduled for Nov 22.

On Nov 22nd, no one showed up. I called again and they said someone would come by the next morning.

On Nov 23rd, no one showed up. Again, I called and I was told someone would come Nov 25th (due to thanksgiving).

Guess what, on Nov 25th no one showed up. See an annoying pattern forming here?

I have had a dryer sitting in my living room since Nov 13th, now it is Nov 26th. I have called the store every time and I just keep getting more and more false promises.

Today I have tried calling your 1-888-BEST-BUY number, but after sitting through all the menus and finally getting to the installation option, the line goes dead. How convenient.

I want my dryer installed and out of my living room. Can you please direct me to the appropriate person to speak with? I am tired of calling the store and being redirected left and right and only being able to speak with people in the warehouse. That is, when they can find the time to even answer the phone.

Thank you for any assistance you can offer,
-Atlanta Daniel
