Most of the time when I think about group travel with strangers, I think about how it is definitely not for me. Participating in cheesy intros and peace activities. Traveling by someone else’s schedule. A complete lack of organization. Too much Thai food. :-)
But then I think about our village. How excited we were when we realised for the 1st time that we could walk “home” by ourselves and not get lost. An amazing surprise trip to the “Royal Project”. Bathing with the bugs. Sleeping on the floor. Watching young Thai kids get drunk and learning who has a crush on who.
And then I remember how much I miss you and I love you and I so glad we got to have such an amazing adventure together!

I am so very lucky to have such rockin’ women as Cle and Nora here in Seattle. Unfortunately, we don’t hang out as much as we should. That’s not to say that we won’t! I propose that your next trip should be to Seattle so that we can go to some proper bars and do it up right!
