I was recently talking with Kristina and Mallory about my drunken silly emails. Sometimes I end up sounding like an off Babel Fish translation. Super engrish gone wrong. It just flows out like that. And I’m completely aware of it while I’m doing it. I read it back to myself and laugh out loud. But I still send it anyways.

The other night, after a long Taphouse adventure, I sent this one along to Trevor (who was visiting Seattle at the time):

Do you know Cactus? it is my all-time-favorite restaurant, It is in Seattle in Magnolia (?) I think it’s called. At the end of some street down there. I must go always when I am in Seattle. I love it so. Please go and love it with me. :-)

Also Araya, a newish all vegan Thai restaurant, near U-District I think. Yumsville. Avocado & Pumpkin Curry.

Oh my. Please go and love it with me? I’m so weird sometimes.

When Alexia and I were in Thailand, we would catch ourselves talking slow to each other. We were so used to talking to Thai people in clear, deliberate English, that it just became second nature.

Alexia? Would… you… like… a glass… of… water?

We… are going… to… get… some beer. Would… you… like… anything?

The New Jesus

Brenden delivered to us tonight (via OJ) a new piece for our Hall O’ Holy. I think it fits perfectly.

Alarm Madness
Our house alarm started going off today for no apparent reason. It’s not even an active service at the moment. I called the alarm company and there wasn’t anything they could do for us and they just said to pull it out of the wall and cut the wires. Yikes!

I’m sure you’ve just been dying to know how my cold sore is doing. Well… I’ll tell you.

It’s down to this little fleshy bit now. It’s not swollen at all anymore and even the bump from earlier today is gone. Just a sore lip spot which hopefully will be gone by morning.

Four days wasn’t so bad. I guess that medicine I got wasn’t lying. From what I’ve read, they are supposed to last 7-10 days. This was a cold sore in fast forward.

It took hours to get this thing in, but it’s sooo worth it. Oh my god, I haven’t had a stove in months. This is the best day ever!

There’s a new Rodriguez/Tarantino movie on the horizon. It looks super fun!

One day I will watch Spy Kids. I just haven’t made it there yet. I always forget that one.

I am pretty positive it’s a cold sore. Just look at that puff! It looks like I got punched.

Dear Holiday Visitors,

If you will be stopping by a Whole Foods before your visit to the Hampton Roads area, would you mind picking up a bottle of Bac-Out for me? I’m sure it is available elsewhere, but I know for sure that Whole Foods always carries it. It is my favorite urine remover and the back of my house is in need of a huge post-construction clean up.

Thank you,
-Atlanta

This shit had me laughing out loud for real:

Five years from now Angelina is gonna run out of races to adopt and start turning to leprechauns and Oompa-Loompas. They’re like Pokemon to her. Gotta catch ‘em all!
