An appraiser came over today to evaluate the house and see if crazy-ass Brooke is justified in receiving $325,000 for it. He was asking some questions about the house and why it was priced at that and what we’ve done to it and blah, blah, blah. I wasn’t sure how much I was actually allowed to say to him and just directed him to my mom. When I told him her name, he got all excited and said he knew her, that he had bought his first house from her and talked about how nice she was. When I told her later about it, she remembered him right away and guess whose house he bought??? Rian’s (Julio’s mom). Weird.

I don’t know yet. He seemed uncomfortable with the asking price, but I haven’t heard his final say. It could go either way. Whereas it would be nice for it to come in low just for the “fuck you” factor, it could also screw me out of a house I have already invested $40,000 in.
