The service I use to host my podcast has been down longer than they stated for scheduled maintenance. That’s why some of you may not be able to download the latest mixes. Just keep trying, it’ll come back eventually.

The next time you see Jared you should mention either Anjelica Huston or Sigourney Weaver and see what happens.

Insight

Today while I was picking up stuff in Chesapeake I saw this precious little Insight in a parking lot. I left a note on the windshield saying that if they were ever interested in selling, to let me know. I sure did.

I walked around it a few times, too, and I really wanted to peer inside and check the miles, but I thought maybe that was going a bit too far.

Yesterday I had to venture outside to do some sawing and painting. I was out there for maybe 5 minutes. Upon returning to my safe haven, I discovered that I had at least 9 new bug bites. 9! That I could visibly see. That’s like a bite every 30 seconds.

I hate summer. I hate summer. I hate summer.

Jared has bought me so many different types of bug spray/lotion, and we have all kinds of repellent things around the yard, but nothing works. I get eaten alive no matter what.

I’m gonna try taking garlic pills and see if that helps any. I wonder if Keirsten gets bug bites.

I received a surprise invite to Facebook tonight via Alexia. Surprise because I thought Facebook was college only. And it’s been a while since I’ve been in school. But I clicked the link anyways out of curiosity.

I told Lexi that I am very anti-MySpace, and I may very well cancel my account in a few hours if I feel it’s too MySpacey. Her husband assures the both of us that this is the “MySpace for adults,” which, apparently, makes it acceptable.

Somehow the fact that Facebook started as a college only network and the phrase “MySpace for adults” just doesn’t really make sense in my head.

Julio and I were on Friendster for a quick second. After Osiris told us it was like collecting baseball cards (but sub “friends” for cards) and John Upton scorned me for setting a personal “friend” max of 10, we immediately canceled both of our accounts.

I’m just not good with social networking sites. They irritate me. Except Flickr. I heart Flickr.

Meet the new additions: Snuffleupagus Rex, “Rock Me” Amadeus, and New Jersey

The idea of 3 new (smelly) creatures living in the house doesn’t excite me a bit. Especially when I watched Snuffleupagus poop all over Jared while taking pictures. But, whatever…..

Today I’m having a Lazy Sunday on a Wednesday. I haven’t even gotten out of bed yet, except to pee twice. I’ve just been laying here listening to music.

Speaking of Sundays, mine was so wonderful. Miss Jessica Maneval, Daniel Valentine, and I went to Busch Gardens for the day. Mother Nature decided to give us a 95° day, but it wasn’t too humid, so it wasn’t completely unbearable. The lines were long, but we managed to ride everything we wanted and we got to do Apollo and Griffon twice. Griffon is sooooooooooooo awesome. Hot dog awesome. The textbook example of exhilaration.

The night before we had a surprise birthday party for Osiris. The surprise being Alison and Osiris, naturally. Li’l Cuties.

Monday night I had a long overdue date with Colette. We had dinner at Parallel and then saw The Valet at the Naro. She loved it.

Yesterday I did some shopping with Linda (i know, my job is so rough) and then we went out for many drinks and dinner with Cameron.

So today I’m catching up on my lay-around-and-do-nothing time. I’ve got some projects to work on later, though, so it won’t be a complete day of nothingness.
