My upcoming trip to NYC was originally planned because of the Magnetic Fields show at Town Hall on Thursday, Feb 21st. Then James discovered that Matmos is playing The Stone on Saturday night (and it’s only $10!). And today we learned of a Michel Gondry Exhibit promoting Be Kind Rewind that we can go to on Friday.
It’s going to be a very fast and fun-filled weekend.

Hello! It’s Matt and Maria’s friend Sam McDonald letting you know that I am so, so envious that you are going to see the Magnetic Fields at Town Hall. I made the pilgrimage to NYC to see a MF show there a few years ago when “I” came out. They were great — it’s a treasured memory. Sounds like you’re going to have a great trip!
