Oh August, it’s looking like you are going to end up being the best month ever. Not only do I get Mexico play date with OJ, a long-awaited visit from my Rob, Brooklyn reunion with Albee, CvT Brooklyn date, and Pumpkin’s b-day bash - but now I can add to that RVA-getaway with Crystal this Saturday.
And I just read that Busdriver is touring with People Under The Stairs and Flobots, and will be playing The National this Saturday!
I didn’t even ask Crystal’s permission, I just went ahead and bought the tickets and know that we will have the best night.

Today I got to listen to both Saul Williams on Subsoniq and Tom Waits on NPR. They both put a smile on my face. Swoon city.
It’s all peely and itchy and grody at the moment, but I’m loving the intensity of that blue.
Just think, by this time next year maybe I’ll be done with this thing.
Backs take FOREVER. But it’s worth it.
Ghengis Khan really was a sweetheart and Mongol really was an excellent movie. I will most certainly be watching it again when it comes out on DVD.
Oh, and I watched Tell No One over the weekend and was quite pleased. It made up for the boring nonsense that was Roman de Gare that I watched the week before.
Now I’m just waiting for Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
I just poured myself a little vodka drink (a substance I haven’t personally had in this house in ages). It’s amazing the memories that came rushing into my head just from one little whiff of vodka. I guess that will always be his cologne to me.
It is difficult to put lotion on your back tattoo by yourself and I no longer have Jared’s collection of t-shirts to go through when I want to cover up so I don’t stain my bedding (because i don’t wear or own t-shirts).
