Lavender PayDay
The first time James and I saw PJ Harvey was at the 9:30 Club, and she was touring with John Parish. We were there early, standing in the front of the line, when Mr. Parish decided to come outside and chat with everyone. We were just a little excited about the whole event.
So very excited.
Had my IUD removed this past Saturday. It was a ridiculously simple procedure, and a waste of $109. If I had know it would pull out that easily, I would have done it myself. Oh well, at least I got to keep it.

Spent last night in Charlottesville with Crystal for a much needed night out with my girl. She lets me rant and vent and decompress, and then shake it all off and have fun.
We read in the C-Ville that a “local Balkan-genre favorite” by the name of Accordion Death Squad was playing at iS (where beloved Starr Hill used to reside), so we headed there after dinner. They were total crushes and Crystal and I were instantly infatuated. It was such a great time and a treasure find. I wish my husbands had been there to enjoy it, I think you would have really liked them.
We headed home after the show and finished the evening laughing at Zack & Miri. It’s so nice to have such love just a short 3 hour drive away. I always feel like I can breathe again after hanging out with my scorpio sister.
