Today while I was picking up stuff in Chesapeake I saw this precious little Insight in a parking lot. I left a note on the windshield saying that if they were ever interested in selling, to let me know. I sure did.
I walked around it a few times, too, and I really wanted to peer inside and check the miles, but I thought maybe that was going a bit too far.
Jared took my car in last week for an inspection and it failed because I needed new windshield wipers and because my headlights were dirty. WTF? And on top of that, they wanted me to pay them $100 to clean them. F that.
I went to the auto store and bought a headlight restoration kit for $20 and did it myself instead. I was really surprised by the results. After I did the first headlight, I stepped back to compare the two and it really did make quite a difference.
Now both of my headlights are sparkling and pretty and new and clean.
